Kambo is a traditional healing practice that involves the application of the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, native to the Amazon basin. The secretion is applied to small burns made on the skin, entering the body through the lymphatic system. Kambo is known for its intense
and immediate effects, which can include vomiting, rapid heart rate, and a drop in blood pressure, followed by a feeling of increased energy and improved well-being.Kambo is traditionally used to cleanse and detoxify the body, boost the immune system, and treat various health issues. In Western contexts, it's often sought for its supposed benefits in mental health, energy level improvement, and physical detoxification. Dana's Experience
Kambo has helped me connect to my body and release physical and emotional blockages. On a Birthday of a loved one on the other side, I self administered Kambo and had a very deep emotional release, tears and feelings that had been buried for years, I was so surprised by the power and knowing of this medicine. It was a profound clearing.
Kambo is not a psychedelic, it is a purifier, able to cleanse out viruses, bacteria, fungus, candida, and more. Kambo opens our chakras, clears Panema (dark energies) and can bring on deep emotional releases. This frog secretion contains many substances including alkaloids, peptides, proteins and works diligently to reset our gut biome. As a facilitator who administers psilocybin and kambo, I play a crucial role in ensuring that these substances are used safely and
effectively.
Psilocybin Facilitation: I will create a sacred space for each ceremony, invocation, and prayers to create a safe energetic container for individuals undergoing psilocybin experiences. This includes preparing individuals before the experience, guiding them through the psychoactive effects, and helping them integrate their experiences afterward. As a trained facilitator I am able to handle the psychological aspects of the experience, ensuring the individual's safety and mental well-being throughout the process.Kambo Facilitation: I am also trained in the traditional methods of administering kambo, understanding its physical and energetic effects on the body. I will prepare the individual, create a sacred space for each ceremony, apply the Kambo, monitor their reaction to the treatment, and provide care during the process, which can be physically demanding.
In both cases, my role as the facilitator is not just about administering the substance but also providing emotional and psychological support. Creating the sacred space for each ceremony and helping individuals set intentions for their experiences is very important. I will guide them through any challenging moments in their safe energetic container, and assist in processing and integrating the experience into their everyday lives. As a facilitator, my expertise and approach are crucial for the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
